The object of study is a system of legislative and regulatory regulation that ensures the organization, implementation, support, interaction, control and monitoring of the processes of international financial cooperation of Ukraine Subject of study - mechanisms for ensuring the implementation of projects using the resources of international financial organizations (IFIs) Research objective - scientific and methodological substantiation and development of recommendations for improving the mechanisms for ensuring the effectiveness of project implementation using the resources of the IFI. The results of the study are transmitted to the Department for Cooperation with International Organizations of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine for use in practical activities. Research mission - the identification of the most effective ways to implement cooperation with the international financial institutions in the context of economic recovery, rehabilitation of public finances, creating conditions for financial balance' maintenance, and financing of major infrastructure and socially important projects in the public sector. Study methods: generalization, observation and comparison, analysis and synthesis, statistical observations, systematic approach, structural analysis. Results and novelty. The result of the research work is the justification of the approach and directions for improving the mechanisms for ensuring the effectiveness of project implementation using the resources of international financial organizations and international technical assistance, and preparing proposals for improving regulatory and legal framework. The novelty of the received results is that the developed proposals are aimed at improving the management system of the attracted resources of the MFI: optimization of procedures and timing of project preparation, in the context of increasing the effectiveness of the implementation of IFI projects, increasing the sample of project funds, reducing the number of canceled projects, increasing the access of domestic producers and suppliers to participate in tender procedures for procurement of projects funded by IFIs.
