The object of the study - the accounting system and financial reporting of entities in Ukraine. The purpose of work is a scientific support of improvement of State policy in the sphere of accounting and financial reporting is accomplished by further adaptation of methodology and national accounting practices to European legislation, the world's best accounting practices. Research methods: Approaches and methods of scientific analysis: institutional, systemic, empirical, structural-functional, comparative, retrospective, inductive, deductive, as well as logical, analytical and other methods. The research results and their novelty: core amendments and legislative initiatives to directive provisions were identified (Directive 2031/34/EU, Directive 2014/95/EU); conceptual approaches to the application of implemented directive provisions to Ukrainian legislation (Directive 2013/34/EU, Directive 2014/95/EU) in the area of the development of non-financial reporting forms and methodological recommendations were defined; the draft form of the report on payments to government and methodological recommendations for filling out the form of the report on payments to government are developed; the draft methodical recommendations for the compilation order the management report. Scope - research results can be used by the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine for: develop and carry out a single state policy in the area of accounting methodology, financial reporting and application of IFRS and national accounting standards; processing of amendments and additions to the Law of Ukraine "On Accounting and Financial Reporting in Ukraine", national accounting regulations (standards), other legislative acts of Ukraine.
