The purpose of the research - Development of the latest applied decisions on the creation of an electronic informational and educational environment based on cloud technologies for the higher educational institutions of the agricultural profile. Methods of research - research is based on the materials of previous studies of authors and project participants, as well as other domestic and foreign authors. The practical part of the study is implemented on existing open source software products and free resources available to educational institutions. Necessary software components that do not exist at the time of the study are realized by the participants of the project. In the process of research, the following methodological approaches were used systemic, synergetic, pedagogical innovations, as well as methods analysis of scientific and technical literature on the problem of introducing cloud technologies into the educational field, studying the peculiarities of the functioning of the programmatic and technical infrastructure of a higher educational institution, modeling and designing of informational and educational environment of a higher educational institution based on the use of cloud computing technologies and open source software platforms. The value of the results obtained is to develop a comprehensive conceptual model for building a cloud-oriented information and educational environment at a higher educational institution. The conceptual model defines the necessary hardware and software components for implementing such a medium. In the practical part, the justification for the selection of specific hardware and software for all components of the environment was made. Also in practical part the realization of a real experimental model of the informational and educational environment on the basis of the National University of Bioresources and Nature Management of Ukraine was realized. The main components of the system, which were identified and tested as a result of the research year, were: a unified database of users of the environment, an educational information portal, a repository of master's works, and a system of Internet conferences on the basis of the university. The main value of the results of the ongoing research is for the higher education sector of Ukraine.
