It is shown that secondary thermal treatment leads to the ordering processes in the structure of nanolayers, and their interaction with air causes their partial corrosion by oxidation and carbonization of the surface. It is established that laser irradiation of As2S3 nanolayers in vacuum induces reversible transformations of the surface structure and creates an optically controlled gradient of atomic concentration. On the basis of the conducted topological-cluster modeling and the first-principle calculations of the electronic states of AsnSm and GenSm clusters, the photoluminescence bands of nanolayers are identified. The results of calculations of the vibrational spectra of clusters allowed to establish the structural nature of reversible induced transformations and to analyze the processes of nanoheterophase structuring of As-S and Ge-S nanolayers.
