In these conditions, the need for effective integration of the domestic economy into a single world space becomes acute. Formation and realization of the competitiveness potential of Ukrainian enterprises are necessary conditions for entering international markets, as intensification of globalization processes, reduction of information barriers significantly change the scale of sales of goods and services, which leads to increased competition in all sectors of the economy. Therefore, the study of the problem of forming and realizing the competitiveness potential of business entities will facilitate their effective work in a changing market environment. Business entities in Ukraine have considerable experience in forecasting and planning work, developing feasibility studies, evaluating the effectiveness of various projects, and prospective and ongoing financial planning. At the same time, the use of theoretical approaches and assessment methods that do not correspond to the current economic conditions leads to the emergence of management crisis of many domestic business entities.
