In particular, the state of the art and methodological approaches to the formation of regional innovation infrastructure are considered. The concept and the components of the infrastructure of support of innovative development are classified; the world experience in creating innovation infrastructure has been analyzed. The theoretical positions of the mechanism of infrastructure provision of innovative activity of subjects of the regional economic complex and the methodical approach to the creation of a regional innovation terminal within the framework of the regional innovation system are proposed. Features of management of innovative development at the regional level are considered. In particular, a three-dimensional matrix for the restructuring of the regional economic complex was developed on the basis of the formation of a new technical and technological basis. The measures to ensure the competitiveness of Ukraine in the transformation period were proposed and recommendations were given on creating a favorable environment for restructuring of regions on the basis of innovation activity. The strategic approach to the process of organization of regional production, which would meet the criteria, requirements and regularities of system development of innovations, is substantiated. The scientific-methodical toolkit for creation of the infrastructure of support of innovative development at the regional level is offered. The justification of expediency of application of network forms of provision of innovative infrastructure of the region is provided. The essence of technological parks as local territorial entities is investigated, their place and role in the region's economy are determined, the world experience of their creation and features of functioning in Ukraine are analyzed. The essence of the cluster approach to the formation of a regional economic complex is considered; the essence of clusters as new organizational and legal forms in the regional economic complex; the issue of increasing the competitiveness of domestic enterprises on the basis of clusterization. The methodical recommendations for determining the potential of creation of innovation clusters in the region are developed.
