It has been found that in the Eu3+ and Tb3+ complexes with 3-arylacetylacetonate ligands, the increase in the number of condensed rings in aromatic substituent of ligand leads to a decrease in the energy of its triplet level, which causes the change of the emission center and the change from metal to ligand-centered luminescence. It also causes a change in the emission color from red (Eu3+) or green (Tb3+) to blue-violet. It was established that the introduction of two antenna-ligands of various nature in Tb3+ - compounds (i.e. Tp- and acetylacetonate or Tp- and 3 phenylacetylacetonate) leads to higher Tb3+-emission quantum yield , and in the case of Eu3+ - compounds, the luminescence quenching was observed. This can be due to differences in the directions of the excitation energy transfer in these compounds. It was shown that binuclear Eu3+ and Tb3+ complexes tris(pyrazolyl)borate and carboxylate ligands exhibit intense metal-centered emission with quantum yields up to 22 and 53%, respectively. This indicates the high efficiency of the excitation energy transfer to the lanthanide ions in these compounds. Product Description popup.authors Василенко І.В. Міхальова О.А.
