The subject of detailed study are the main methodological approaches to the knowledge of tolerance in the format of contemporary epistemologically and noumenologically oriented philosophical discourse, and hence their components - concepts, principles, foundations, categories and derivative norms of problem-module mental activity. The purpose of the research: to highlight the essence of the gnosis-neuomenological direction of tolerance in the philosophical and psychological discourse; to substantiate the principles, concepts, regularities, categories and myslskhemy in the knowledge of tolerance methodological means. Methods of research: critical analysis, reflexive synthesis, criterion comparison, logic-empirical induction, logical-semantic deduction, theoretical and methodological modeling, configuration and typology, problem-module methodology, thinking experiment. As a result of the research received the theoretical substantiation of the content: a) the ontological-phenomenological direction of knowledge of human tolerance in the complementarity of ideas, principles, patterns, categories and concepts of the five approaches: ontological-historical, ontogenetic, eschatological, axiological and philosophical and scientific views on nature and essence of the named tolerance; b) gnoseological-knowing cognition in the complement of five approaches: epistemological, epistemological, hermeneutic, ethical-relativistic and synergetic. The generalized scientific result of the work is the development of a methodological model of the binary study of tolerance, namely, as a way of human existence and its form of expression in the vital functions of humanity, nations, ethnic groups, organizations, groups and individuals, and as a gnosis-noumenal reality, present in the plane of ideal conservative social and individual consciousness. The degree of implementation is at the level of methodological development, which proves the productivity of the interdependent development and processing of the ontological-phenomenological and gnosis-noumenological trends in the study of tolerance, within which the content is intensified both ontological and epistemological bases through their embodiment in the essential (knowledge, methodological, and cultural) the knowledge of the moral and practical circumstances of human existence and the cyclically holistic social existence of citizens in general.
