The purpose of the work is to develop strategic business initiatives within the framework of implementation of the Strategy for the development of the Skalatsky United Territorial Community of the Podvolochysky District of the Ternopil Oblast. Methods of research - generalization, analogy, grouping and comparison for substantiation of perpetual directions of community activity; causal link for identification of features and trends of community settlements development; statistical to determine the effectiveness of using community potential; expert, local marketing to assess the environment and identify strategic benchmarks for community development; SWOT is an analysis for analyzing the community development environment, identifying its strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats; morphological analysis for substantiation of strategic business initiatives and directions of their realization. The generalized scientific result of the work is the development of strategic business initiatives and the mechanism for their implementation within the framework of the Strategy for the Development of the Skalatsky United Territorial Community in the Podvolochysky District of the Ternopil Oblast. The degree of implementation - developed strategic business initiatives are based on the implementation of strategic, innovation policy, budgeting development of the territory, cross-sectoral partnership. Proposed scientific and practical approaches can be used by local self-government bodies when implementing strategies for the development of territorial communities.
