Research methods - modern methods of integrated geographical approach to the analysis of conditions for the formation of river flow and hydrochemical regime of rivers, theoretical analysis of hydrometeorological processes and phenomena, statistical processing of hydrological characteristics. Problems of the current state in the field of mathematical models of calculations and forecasting of the spring runoff of lowland rivers are determined; The influence of climatic changes on the formation of extreme maximum spring runoff has been analyzed; an assessment of the areas of possible saturation and assessment of risks in accordance with the requirements of the WFD and the European Union's WFD are carried out.
