The object of research is the process of ecological and economic modeling of rational use of land-resource potential. The purpose of the research is theoretical and methodological substantiation and development of ecological and economic models for ensuring rational use of land-resource potential of Ivano-Frankivsk region. Methods of research - dialectical - to lay theoretical foundation for knowledge of the object of research; cluster analysis (clustering) - to make geographic diversification of social, economic and environmental groups of factors influencing the level of agglomeration of the regions of the country; monographic and retrospective - to analyze the experience and features of land use, to identify causal relationships that have caused environmental and economic problems in the field of land management; factor analysis (adoption of elimination) - analytically investigate the influence of factors on the economic efficiency of modern economics; cartographic synthesis - to investigate, detect, confirm and clearly convey the state of land resources, existing negative factors and their level of influence on land-resource potential and help to simulate ways to solve land management problems; - modeling - to provide a form of action planning to achieve the rational use of land-resource potential; forecasting and planning - to develop the Program for Improving Environmental Sustainability and the Strategy of Economic Development of Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast. The value of the results obtained is to develop, on the basis of ecological and economic modeling, ways of rational use of land-resource potential and planning of land management development. Regulatory ecological-economic models of rational use of land-resource potential of Ivano-Frankivsk oblast were developed. The zoning of the territory of the Transnistrian district (based on the example of the Gorodenka district of the Ivano-Frankivsk region) was carried out. The complex of measures aimed at solving the most important problems of rational use of land-resource potential of the plowed territories was substantiated. Areas of application - The application of these approaches is possible through local bodies of land resources and executors of documentation on land management, filling the state land cadastre of Ukraine with reliable and relevant land cadastral.
