The wide geography of the study corresponds to the need to study the genesis, artistic and stylistic features and the interaction of cultural and ethnic borderlands within the Carpathian region. All objects are photographed for further cataloging, selective attribution of unknown artifacts has been carried out, and previously unknown names of masters have been put into circulation. On the basis of this, the stable typology of the artistic wood is broadened (in particular, the newly discovered monuments of small plastics - wooden crosses in the ancient cemeteries of Western Transcarpathia - appear as an object of scientific study). Within the framework of the monuments' typology - sacred, secular, applied - decorative and constructive features of temple construction, residential, economic buildings were analyzed. Identified and named features, determined by the folk tradition, common for the Carpathian ethno-cultural region in the diachronic section, as well as the local special characteristics that are specific to a particular territory, the mutual ways of their distribution between different ethnographic groups are defined. In the course of expeditionary research, a number of monuments of an artistic wood were revealed in folk architecture, primarily residential, which were difficult to access for researchers, through restructuring and unsatisfactory state of preservation had not previously appeared in scientific research on this topic. But it was found that they represent material suitable for studying and conducting analogies with existing monuments in the territories of neighboring states historically belonging to the Eastern Carpathian region. A professional reconstruction of the samples of the folk architecture with the involvement of unique photographic materials from private archives of the 1920s-1930s was carried out. A database of monuments of the Transcarpathian artistic wood (on expeditionary materials) has been created, which expand the existing typology. Unknown artifacts (architecture, plastic arts, decorative art) and names of folk artists (little-known and completely unknown) are revealed. The field materials have been properly analyzed (classification, typology and generalization of the artistic and stylistic features of the artistic wood in the context of ethnic cultorogenesis). According to the results of the research, a typology of artistic wood artifacts was formed and local art centers were classified on the basis of expedition materials and taking into account interconfessional mutual influences in the monuments of wooden sacred art. An electronic illustrated guide to the artistic wood of Transcarpathia with a factually systematized visual series of art monuments in the form of an interactive map (development of technical site functionality and filling with text-visual accompanying materials) was created. Based on the research, the entire array of collected material is systematized and the artistic and stylistic and constructive features of the Transcarpathian artistic wood are outlined.5481 Product Description popup.authors Герій Оксана Омелянівна Клімашевський Андрій Володимирович Козурак Микола Степанович Приймич Михайло Васильович popup.nrat_date 2020-04-02 Close
