The purpose of the work is to create, by means of modernization theories and historical comparative studies, a conceptual model of international processes and world politics, European policy and European integration, studying the history of the development of foreign countries and the place of Ukraine in the post-bipolar system of international relations. As a result of the research, a conceptual model of the main features and trends of political development of the leading countries of the world and regions in the conditions of globalization of society and integration of countries was created. The crisis of values of European civilization in the conditions of global military-political confrontations and variants of its overcoming, historical heritage of the Reformation, as a component of the policy of memory of European states in the XXI century, are analyzed. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of Ukraine's experience in international cooperation on overcoming the consequences of man-made accidents, overcoming the "mental" boundaries and stereotypes, and the role of the media in their formation. The results of the research work have been introduced into the educational process at the Department of World History and International Relations of the Zaporizhzhya National University by updating courses of lectures on disciplines: "The Newest History of Europe and North America", "History of the Middle Ages and the Early Modern Time", "Conflictology and the Theory of Negotiations", "The internal political development of the countries of the world", "Political globalistics", "International integration and globalization", "Foreign policy of the countries of the region", "Ethnodemographic and social structure of the countries of the region", "National ideology and political elites of the countries of the region", "Problems of national and regional security", "Foreign policy of the countries of the region", "Diplomatic protocol and etiquette", "Culture, art and mass media of the region".
