The object of the study is the statistical forms of registration and registration of occupational diseases, electronic forms of "Cards of registration of occupational diseases and drug abuse", materials of periodical medical examinations, databases of occupational diseases of the Social Insurance Fund of Ukraine. Methodology and scope of research - divided into several stages. The first stage is the collection, processing and processing of the "Card of Occupational Diseases Record (Diseases)" for the first time registered in the country in 2007-2016, and the analysis of the obtained data. The main forms of occupational pathology by types of economic activity and regions of Ukraine were studied, taking into account the age and seniority of the victims. At the second stage, an analysis of the legal and regulatory framework for the establishment and registration of occupational diseases in Ukraine was carried out. The final stage was the justification within the framework of the Concept for the creation of the State Register of persons who have established a professional disease, the structure and principles of the functioning of the register. Materials were also considered for the creation of normative foundations of the State Register of occupational diseases. Particular attention was paid to the development of the principles of construction and content of the technical specification for the software of the doctor-occupational pathologist.
