Factors on which the survival in patients was dependent were established (e.g. risk profile according to SOKAL and EUTOS score, prior treatment, depth of cytogenetic responce, clonal evolution of karyotype, degree of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) level reduction in the course of treatment. Response to treatment with generic imatinib and nilotinib as the first line therapy was evaluated in the group of CML patients.
