The object of research: the stresses that arise in the metal structures of special cranes; deformation parameters at different boundary conditions and general indicators of the stress-strain state of metal structures and crane construction elements. The purpose of the work: the study of steel structures and main carriers of special cranes, the introduction of constructive changes to improve the bearing capacity of knots and elements of cranes, the expansion of technological capabilities of reloading technology, increase the efficiency of the design automation systems. Main tasks: development of the theory of alternative and progressive method of calculation of machine building constructions - numerical-analytical variant of the method of boundary elements; development of the model of the stress-deformed state of complex metal constructions of cranes and the construction of nomograms of stresses for various types of special cranes; development of mathematical models of research objects under spatial load; research of the influence of various factors on the performance characteristics and the solution of the task of optimization of metal structures; development of methods for automating the design of constructions of investigated objects using a parametric programming language; determination of overloads of the crane carrier system and carrying out of experimental researches on models and real objects of cranes with use of innovative systems of measuring of the stressed and deformed state.
