The purpose of the study: theoretical reflection of reproductive dynamics in the aspect of the interconnection of institutions and economic activity and the development of approaches to overcoming socio-economic and institutional contradictions in the reproductive dynamics of the economic system of Ukraine. Methods of research: logical-historical methodology in combination with structural-functional analysis, institutional and evolutionary approaches, modeling of cyclic dynamics, system and economical-statistical methods. The results and their novelty: the theory of reconstructive type of reproductive dynamics is developed in the aspect of the interrelation of the institutions and economic activity, the features of the reproductive dynamics of the modern economy are revealed, the main directions for overcoming deformations of the development of the domestic social and economic system and ensuring sustainable reproductive dynamics are determined. It is shown that in today's conditions the process of formation of the reconstructive type of reproduction begins, in which: 1) the simple, narrowed and extended reproduction of various components of the economic system is combined; 2) qualitative transformations dominate quantitative and the measure and criteria of socioeconomic development changes; 3) the potential for use of negative forms of economic dynamics - crisis, depression and destructive growth - for a qualitative restructuring of the structure of the economsc system emerges. The modern features of the cyclic character of reproduction dynamics are revealed. The existence in Ukraine of an economic cycle modified by the transformational crisis and the cyclical component of political and economic processes is substantiated. The general model of macroeconomic dynamics (economic cycle) - a model of cumulative imperfection of the markets, which can be applied in the conditions of Ukraine, is proposed. It is substantiated that crises should be considered not only as serious disturbances of economic equilibrium and stability of economic growth, but above all as an immanent property of cyclic and wavy development and the necessary way to update the institutional structure of society and economy. It is substantiated that in order to harmonize the interconnection of institutions and economic activity in the reproductive dynamics that unfolds in Ukraine, it is necessary to build an institutional complex that would be able to combine natural-economic, market and information-network relations in the economic activity of business entities. It has been established that the correction of the trajectory of the socio-economic development of Ukraine should be carried out on the basis of taking into account such a criterion of the success of reforms as the demand for innovations on the part of economic entities. It is shown that the basis of sustainable development of the national economy under the inverse type of global market transformations is an effective reform of the social sector aimed at establishing the market of public goods as a compensation institution for the desocialization of economic relations, and provides an effective transformation of human potential into human capital.
