The purpose of the work is design and research of energy complexes of absorption, transformation and accumulation of solar energy using synthesized composite sorbents. Methods of research - computational (thermodynamic and statistical), experimental (basic physico-chemical methods of analysis). The processes of absorption, transformation and accumulation of solar energy in adsorption heat converters of various purposes are investigated. Methods of obtaining heat-accumulating materials are developed; technology of sol-gel synthesis of new composite sorbents on the basis of crystalline hydrates and silicon organic matrix. New technical solutions are proposed: a solar collector in which a composite sorbent of the type "silica gel crystalline hydrate" is used as a material that perceives solar radiation; energy complex of absorption and accumulation of solar energy; water heating system; heat-storage module; device for air conditioning, accumulator of thermal energyand based on developed composite sorbents. The optimal arrangement of solar collectors on the ground with the help of the developed mathematical model of their work is determined. Recommendations for the use of solar water heating systems are given.
