The aim of work is to increase the accuracy and sensitivity of the devices for control of quantitative content and flow of natural and liquefied petroleum gases. The methods of control of quantitative content and flow of liquefied petroleum gas and natural gas are analyzed. The thermo-optical method for controlling the quantitative content of gases based on the differences in the temperature dependences of refractive indexes, ultrasonic amplitude-frequency method for controlling the flow of media, which is based on the use of the phenomenon of interference of ultrasonic waves in the near-range region of the transmitter-receiver, is proposed. The mathematical model of the transfer of an ultrasonic wave in a fluid medium within the vicinity of the ultrasonic transducer-receiver, a mathematical model of the optical-electronic measuring converter of quantitative gas content, a mathematical model of the ultrasonic amplitude-frequency measurement converter of fluid flow rates is obtained. Optical-electronic analyzer of quantitative content of liquefied petroleum gas and ultrasonic flowmeter was developed, models of these devices were made and experimental research was carried out.
