The subject of research is the method of low temperature pyrolysis of food waste, as a component of solid household waste (SHW). The purpose of the work is to substantiate and study the environmentally safe technological process of food waste processing, as a component of solid waste, by the method of low temperature pyrolysis. Research methods: general chemical technology, gas metering equipment, software temperature and pressure control, refractometry, fractional distillation, gas chromatography. The practical value of the results. The technological scheme of low-temperature pyrolysis of food waste with the use of a periodically-continuous reactor with a sealed screw feed of the raw material and the unloading of the final degradation products is developed. Possible areas and directions of practical use of the investigated technologies: - agriculture (use of solid residues after appropriate treatment as solid microorganic fertilizers and pyrolysis liquid - as liquid microorganic fertilizers); - chemical industry, fuel and energy complex (use of synthesis gas after appropriate purification for methanol, ammonia, oxosynthesis and synthetic liquid fuels); - municipal economy (construction of mini-factories for the processing of food waste, as a component of solid waste, by the method of low-temperature pyrolysis).
