The purpose of the study is to develop means (antigens and serums) for the diagnosis of rabies based on immunofluorescence and to improve the methods for controlling the immunogenic activity of inactivated anti-rabies vaccines. Methods of research - theoretical and methodological basis of the study are the fundamental work of leading native researchers. Statistical analysis of the results of the study was used in the work: the experiments were performed with a recurrence of ? 3, which provided reliable results. Digital values were statistically processed in Microsoft Office Excel 2007 using the Intel PC. Such documents as expert examination of laboratory investigation, accompanying letters to pathological materials recognized as positive for rabies in the State regional laboratories of veterinary medicine, reports of regional departments of veterinary medicine, State Research Institute of Laboratory Diagnostics and Veterinary and Sanitary Expertise (SRILDVSE), State Scientific Control Institute Biotechnology and Strains of Microorganisms (SSCIBSM), State Veterinary and Phytosanitary Service of Ukraine, European bulletin for rabies and OIE and WHO information on rabies, were stuied and analyzed.
