The purpose of the work is to develop and improve the methods of forecasting meteorological conditions of atmospheric pollution over industrial districts of Odessa, as well as the characteristic of variability of meteorological values over the Northwest Black Sea coast, an estimation of modern aero-synoptic features of the region. Methods of research - spatio-temporal analysis of meteorological information and data of air pollution, statistical analysis, synoptic analysis, typification of synoptic processes. The tendencies of the formation of the wind regime of Odessa and the Odessa region and their importance for the ecological state are determined. The connection between the features of the wind regime in different regions of Odessa with the level of air pollution is revealed. The typification of synoptic processes that contribute to the accumulation of harmful impurities over Odessa is updated. The conditions of formation of retarding layers and low jets in combination with weak winds are characterized. Based on the results of the performed studies, an alternative method for forecasting meteorological conditions of pollution (the potential for exceeding the MAC) for the industrial districts of Odessa for various types of synoptic processes has been developed. Implementation of the results obtained in the work of the MMC ChAM simplifies the forecast of meteorological conditions of air pollution over Odessa. Implementation of the results in the educational process will improve the mastering of the discipline "Specialized weather forecasts" and will re-adjust the content of duty on the forecast of meteorological conditions of air pollution in the UBP OGECU for masters of 1 year of training in the specialty "Earth Sciences" (specialization "Meteorology").
