Economic policy always faces the problem of choosing priorities. This choice is predetermined by the influence of many internal and external factors, the orientation of economic policy on certain economic doctrines and theories, and the economic interests of certain socio-economic groups. As a result, questions arise about the formation and functioning of effective economic policy. The object of research is economic policy as a set of measures aimed at streamlining the movement of economic processes, the impact on them or the direct identification of their results. The subject of research is factors, mechanisms and problems formation of economic policy of Ukraine. The purpose of the research work is to improve the theoretical and practical fundamentals of the modern model of economic policy in the conditions of economic processes globalization both at macro and micro levels. The most significant results, containing scientific novelty, are to deepen the theoretical and applied aspects of ensuring the sustainable development of the state economic policy, developing the main directions of effective functioning of all segments of market relations.
