A significant amount of new source material was introduced into scientific circulation, which allows us to trace certain laws of the historical development of Ukraine in the twentieth century, its political, material and spiritual culture. The sources worked out and analyzed during 2017 provide an opportunity to get more complete information on the struggle of the Ukrainian people for the revival of their own statehood in the twentieth century, the period of the Ukrainian Revolution of 1917-1921, the period of the USSR (1922-1991), the activity the Ukrainian liberation movement.
