The research work is devoted to the scientific and theoretical substantiation of alternative models of social development management in the global information space and the development of an optimal model for Ukraine. During the implementation of the research work, the conceptual foundations for forming a general approach to the identification and implementation of alternative models of social development management in the global information space aimed at balancing the interests of the individual (provision of constitutional rights, spiritual and intellectual development of the individual in conditions of limited access to personal information), society (democratization of society, creation of a legal social state, achievement and maintenance of social harmony and stability) and the state (creation of conditions for the dynamic development of the national information infrastructure, ensuring constitutional human and citizen's rights in obtaining and using information, maintaining political, economic and social stability) . The purpose of the work is the scientific and theoretical substantiation of alternative models of social development management in the global information space and the development of an optimal model for Ukraine. To accomplish the tasks of a scientific project, a complex of modern general scientific and specific principles, approaches, methods was used. During the first stage of work, existing models of management of social development were analyzed and systematized, tendencies of their changes changed in the conditions of formation of the global information space, tendencies of their changes in the conditions of formation of the global information space were revealed; the innovative methodology of research of processes of management of social development is offered; the conceptual principles of ensuring the integrity of the social system in the global information space are developed; 1 article was published in magazines belonging to the SCOPUS science-metric databases (Zubareva MA); 3 articles in professional editions from the list of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (Prof. Sidoruk T.V.); 21 reports in collections on the materials of conferences; 2 candidate's theses (Segeda T.V., Unir V.O.), 3 master's theses; updated programs 6 lecture courses.
