Object of investigation: postoperative ventral hernia. Subject of the study: surgical tactics of treatment of postoperative ventral hernias, adaptive ability of the anterior abdominal wall, degree of expression of undifferentiated connective tissue dysplasia. Methods of investigation: clinical, laboratory, biochemical, immuno-enzyme, immunohistochemical, instrumental (ultrasound, electromyography, spirometry), statistical. The aim of the study was to increase the efficiency of surgical treatment of patients with postoperative ventral hernias by morphofunctional substantiation of video laparoscopic allogernioplasty. A comparative analysis of the results of examination and treatment of 314 patients with postoperative ventral hernias, divided into 2 groups: a comparison group (171 patients) who used standard methods of examination and treatment, and the main group (133 patients) who underwent video laparoscopic allogernioplasty with a morphofunctional justification its application by studying the activity of connective tissue and the proliferative capacity of muscle tissue in the area of the hernial defect. This allowed us to compile an algorithm for predicting the development of postoperative complications, an algorithm for diagnosis and surgical treatment of postoperative ventral hernias. The developed approach allowed to reduce the number of postoperative complications from 28.6% to 9.1%, significantly reducing their severity, reducing bed-day and improving the quality of life of patients of the study group in the long-term postoperative period. Key words: postoperative ventral hernia, video laparoscopic allogernioplasty, proliferation factor, undifferentiated connective tissue dysplasia. Product Description popup.authors Велігоцький О.М.
