From the Agaricus bisporus mushrooms, according to modified method, was isolated tyrosinase, with enhanced on 25 % activity. By the PAGE-SDS method the protein-fractional composition was determined (9 fraction); it was revealed, that 92,5 % the total protein demonstrates phenoloxidase activity. Screening of new tyrosinase inhibitors among the wide range of compounds: derivatives of 3-chloro-1?4-naphtoquinone, isatin, 3-hidroxy 2-naphthoic acid, etc., had shown, that significant influence on monophenolase activity of tyrosinase makes 2,7-dihydroxynaphtalene, benzylidenaniline and it's derivatives. It was established, that the most prospective inhibitor is 2-hydroxybensiliden-2-aminophenol, the IC50 of which is 3,5 mmol/dm3,what is 17-fold lower of that of classical inhibitor of melanogenesis - kojic acid. It was shown the belonging of benzylidenaniline to noncompetitive inhibitors of enzyme; values of inhibition constant variated in the wide range: from 5,1 to 254,6 mmol/dm3 , depending on the benzylidenanilines structure.
