Experimental studies have been carried out to evaluate the efficiency of purification and to determine the requirements for the procedure of electric pulse treatment of waste water. The prototype models of two types of reactors for electric discharge treatment of waste water with increased content of heavy metal ions (galvanic) of domestic sewage with a multifunctional corona discharge, each of which allows to process water up to 100 l/h are developed. The accomplished experiments with various parameters of the energy source made it possible to determine the effective modes of waste water purification by chemical analyzes of treated water. The conclusion is made about the possibility of using electric discharge methods for treatment of industrial effluents of enterprises when scaling the electric discharge equipment. Conclusions are given on the possibility of industrial implementation of the method based on the results of a study of the chemical and bacteriologic composition of the liquid.
