The object of the research is the treatment modes of the water-air mixture. It is determined that as a result of the impact of electric discharge energy, local decomposition of water and air occurs with the formation of hydrogen, oxygen, ozone, nitrogen and nitric acids. A series of experiments were performed with a pulsed treatment of a water-air mixture at various ratios. The most effective is the treatment of a "water + air" mixture at a ratio of 1:2, respectively. The relationship between the amount of nitrogen, the electrical conductivity of the discharge medium and the modes of high-voltage post-pulse treatment is established. An energy-saving discharge-pulse method of obtaining ammonia water was developed. It was found that electric discharge treatment with a specific energy consumption of 60 MJ/l with the capacitor charging voltage of 40 kV provides the maximum yield of nitrogen-containing products of the discharge of the air-water mixture.
