Aim of work - to perfect scientific and methodical approaches for determination of calculation descriptions of floods and high waters on territory of Ukraine. Research methods - modern methods of the complex geographical going near the analysis of terms of forming of river flow, theoretical analysis of hydrological processes and phenomena, statistical analysis of temporal rows of maximal charges of water and layers of flow of spring tide, statistical analysis of temporal rows of maximal charges of water and layers of flow of spring tide, their spatial generalization on territory of Ukraine with the purpose of the further setting of norms and prognostication. Results of researches and their novelty - methodology is offered for determination of calculation descriptions of maximal, annual and minimum flow of the rivers of Ukraine.
