Both qualitative and quantitative estimations of vortical flow influence on the velocity field and bottom turbulent stresses are obtained. Evolution and interaction of coherent vortex structures and side flows are investigated as well as sources of their gtntration in the construction are discovered. The estimations of localization, frequency and intensity of the coherent vortex structures of different types are obtained. Scenarios of influence of the vortices on the structure stability are considered. The tngineering method for estimation of the main factors that affect on the erosion of the sandpit dack is developed.
