Abstract. Report on research work: 39 p., 17 fig., 4 tables, 28 sources. Objects of the investigation - the surface of solid-state samples irradiated with hydrogen ions at different temperatures used in nuclear power engineering and which can be used to fabricate the first wall of thermonuclear reactors. Purpose of work - Measurement of mass spectra of secondary ions from the surface of solid samples of various materials after treatment with hydrogen ions, which are formed during high-frequency discharge in hydrogen. Investigation of changes in the samples surface upon irradiation and heating. Study of changes in the structure of samples using X-ray diffraction analysis. Research methods - Irradiation of solid-state samples heated up to different temperatures by a special heater, which used in nuclear power engineering and which can be used to fabricate the first wall of thermonuclear reactors. Secondary ion mass spectrometry (SIMS), mass spectrometry of secondary neutral particles (SNMS). Electron microscopy of irradiated samples. X-ray diffraction studies of samples. In the work the review of modern representations about features of SIMS and SNMS analysis is carried out, the essence of methods and the limits of their application is described. The characteristics of the investigated samples are considered. Numerous measurements of mass spectra were carried out on the samples and identification of the main elements on the surface of the samples was carried out.
