The subject of the study - the features of the organization, the main directions, forms and methods of psychological support of the professional activities of employees "KORD". The purpose of the study is to substantiate and develop a system of psychological support measures for certain aspects of the professional activities of KORD employees in order to form the occupational and psychological readiness of employees for service activities and provide psychological assistance after being in extreme situations. Methods of research: studying and analysis of special literature, system analysis and synthesis (for the allocation of certain structural elements from the primary empirical information, systematization and generalization of heterogeneous data on characteristic features), socio-psychological methods (expert assessment, analysis of documentation and products of activity, etc.) and other. The obtained results: the scientific-practical manual was prepared, which covered the issues of psychological support of certain aspects of professional activity of employees of special-purpose units. The analysis of their activity indicated the specifics of selection, features of psychological preparation for professional activity were revealed. Particular attention is paid to the issue of providing psychological assistance to employees of "KORD" after being in extreme situations.
