Karazin popup.description2 The objects of the study are charged and neutral particles in dusty molecular plasmas, in unsteady dusty discharges and at an electrical breakdown in the atmosphere of Mars; quartz glass under the action of ion fluxes and ionizing radiation. The purpose of the stage is determination of the electron energy distribution function (EEDF) and other parameters in the dusty argon afterglow plasma as well as the EEDF and other parameters at the breakdown in a dusty CO2 environment under conditions that correspond to the dust storms on Mars; modernization of an optical device for investigation of luminescence of dielectric materials, which is induced by UV and X-rays. Theoretical and numerical models for description of the EEDF and other parameters in the dusty argon afterglow plasma and at the breakdown in CO2 dusty environment under conditions close to that at the surface of Mars have been developed. The properties of these plasma media are determined. The analytical expressions describing the EEDF in a dusty plasma that is in the afterglow regime are obtained, assuming that the frequency for electron-neutral collisions is a function of the electron energy, as well as in the case when it is independent on the energy of electrons.
