Karazin popup.description2 The measurement technique and detailed description of experimental TAU-1 and TAU-2 installations intended for long-term monitoring of the half-life value ? of the 214Po are presented. The results of the analysis of data which were collected for 354 (TAU-1) and 973 (TAU-2) days are given. The 214Po half-life evaluated from the collected data is ?=165.45±0.04 ?s. The annual variation with an amplitude of (9.8±0.6)?10-4 and daily variations in the solar, lunar, and sidereal times with amplitudes of (7.5±1.2)?10-4, (6.9±2.0)?10-4, and (7.2±1.2)?10-4, respectively, are found in the series of ? values. It is shown that variations in microclimatic parameters cannot be a cause of ? variations. A strong correlation is detected between the solar-daily and lunar-daily ?-variations and of the installation in the direction towards the singled-out astronomical abject. The more stringent limit to the 124Xe half-life with respect to the double-electron capture mode of the nuclear capture of two K-shell electrons is received withТ1/2?4,6?1021 at the 90% confidence level. The activities to significantly increase the sensitivity of these experiments, in particular, to ensure the highest reliability of registration the half-live of 78Kr with respect to the 2?2K-to-ground-state capture. New theoretical approach to the description of radioactive decay of a polarized ?-lepton on charged pion and a ?-neutrino was developed. The possibility to active the energy resolution comparable with the theoretical one in the spectrometric measurements is shown. The work is based on the experimental measurements fulfilled with a newly designed of ion pulse ionization chamber. The significance of the work is connected with the possibility of using its results for solving such key problems of nuclear physics, particle physics and cosmology as the mass and nature of neutrinos, effects and mechanisms of possible influence on radioactive decay.
