Karazin popup.description2 The purpose of the research is to establish new physical regularities of the interphase interaction process in binary nanofilms, the components of which form phase diagrams of "simple eutectic" and "cigar" types. The subjects of the research are the rate of diffusion processes in nanodisperse films, the influence of the size factor on the activation energy of diffusion in films, the morphological and phase structure of the layered films. Effect of the interaction between the components of the film-substrate system on the films morphology change peculiarities is also under investigation. Investigation methods. Layered films were formed using a method of sequential condensation during thermal or electron-beam evaporation of components from independent sources in a high vacuum. The morphology and structure of the specimens were investigated using transmission (Selmi PEM-125K, bright-, dark-field, SAED modes) and scanning (Jeol JSM-840) electron microscopy, along with elecrtonography (Selmi EMB-100BR) technique. The kinetics of a solid solution formation in layered films was investigated by heating the specimens directly in a microscope, i.e. in situ. The activation energy of diffusion and solid state solubility were determined by changing the electrical resistance of the samples during the heating-cooling cycle. Elemental analysis of the films composition was carried out using the method of energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, implemented on the basis of a scanning electron microscope Jeol JSM-840 (EDS-1). As a result of the project, new physical peculiarities of diffusion processes and processes at the interphase boundary in layered nanofilms have been determined, depending on the characteristic size (film thickness or particle size) and the type of interaction between the layers components. The main attention was paid to the study of diffusion mechanisms in nano-sized systems and to the determination of appropriate diffusion coefficients, along with studying nature of the effect of low-temperature crystallization of amorphous semiconductor films in contact with metal. The main results of the research were obtained for the first time, their relevance is conditioned by both: the need to understand the processes in low-dimensional systems physics and the use of nanodispersed objects in modern technologies. The R&D project results can be used by scientific institutions involved in similar research. Product Description popup.authors В.В. Заварзін О.Л.Самсоник О.О. Мінєнков О.П.Кришталь Р.В. Сухов С.I.
