The aim of the work is the development and implementation of highly efficient imaging methods with a spatial resolution of up to 10 cm, as well as the development of a new generation of radars with synthesized aperture X- and Ka-band frequencies. The research method is theoretical and experimental methods of the theory of coherent processing of digital and analog signals, computer simulation, design methods for the development and creation of radar systems. Two modifications of the Range-Doppler algorithm for processing X-band data have been developed, which make it possible to significantly improve the quality of X-band images due to correction of radiometric errors and compensation of phase errors associated with carrier instability and orientation of the SAR pattern. The method is based on the estimation of local quadratic errors on short time intervals with the subsequent reproduction of an unknown phase error on time intervals of arbitrary length. An autofocusing algorithm by the displacement of images is used for local estimation The task of detecting moving targets using a single-antenna SAR system was solved under the assumption that the target motion vector is unchanged during the observation time. The proposed algorithm is based on the comparison of images of the same area of the scene, which were synthesized at different times. The effectiveness of the developed methods and algorithms is confirmed by the results of computer simulation and processing of real SAR data. The 3-cm SAR system RIAN-SAR-X developed by the Radio Astronomy Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine within the framework of this research work is described. The main technical characteristics of the radar, which is designed to obtain high-quality "multilook" X-band images from the side of light-engine aircraft, are described. The effectiveness of RIAN-SAR-X radar is illustrated by examples of obtained X-band images. An experimental GRSA-system of the Ka-band of frequencies was developed. The description of the main design and algorithmic solutions that were used in design the operating prototype of the locator is provided. The performance of the system is demonstrated by the examples of processing data of real experiments Product Description popup.authors
