Purpose - to develop methods of condensation of sulfonic and phosphatic acids chlorides with phenols and diphenols in two-phase systems water-organic solvent with the presence of pyridine N-oxides, the catalyst influence on reaction rate and yield study, the most effective catalyst determination and conditions of esters synthesis optimization. Physico-chemical properties and structure obtained compounds studying. Research methods - infrared spectroscopy, nuclear magnetic resonance, elemental analysis, quantum-chemical calculations. Were studied inverse phase transfer catalysis (IPTC) reactions of bifunctional chloranhydrides with bisphenols. It is shown that use of IPTC allows for polycondensation reaction in mild conditions. The influence of the initial concentration of the catalyst in the aqueous phase on the rate of the process and the yield of the reaction product is established. It is determined that 4-dimethylaminopyridine-N-oxide the most effective catalyst for such reaction. The structure of synthesized 1,3-phenylene bis(4-methylbenzenesulfonate) and 1,4-phenylene bis(4-methylbenzenesulfonate) was studied by IR spectroscopy and DFT. New imino derivatives of gossypol are synthesized. The structure and tautomeric equilibrium were investigated by NMR and IR spectroscopy. The novelty of the work is to develop simple environmental friendly methods of conducting a polycondensation reaction. Scientific significance is determined by studying the mechanism of the process and structure of reaction products by modern methods of experimental and theoretical spectroscopy. The practical value is to find effective antioxidants from natural regenerative raw materials. Conducting organic reactions in water-organic systems significantly reduces the use of organic solvents, which is important both for environmental and technological reasons. The conducted researches are necessary for the further development of the theory of the IPTC reactions of bifunctional reagents, the establishment of the mechanism of their trans-phase transportations, the development of methods for the use of IPTC for the synthesis of esters.
