Aim of the research: theoretical and methodological substantiation of ways of development of non-Olympic sport in Ukraine based on the analysis of history of formation and peculiarities of functioning in the modern international practice. The purpose of the third stage of the research: improvement of programme, normative and legal and other acts of the sphere of physical culture and sports on the basis of determining the organizational and legal principles of the functioning of non-Olympic sport at the international and national levels. Object of the research: organizational and legal principles of the development of non-Olympic sport. Subject of the research: normative and legal software for the development of national non-Olympic sport. Methods of the research: analysis of scientifically-methodical literature and normatively-legal sources, analysis, synthesis and generalization; comparison and analogy; induction, deduction; approach of the systems, SWOT-аnalysis, expert questioning, methods of mathematical statistics. Results of the research: organizational and legal foundations for the functioning of non-Olympic sport are defined at the international and national levels. Оrganizational aspects of the World Games and All-Ukrainian non-Olympic games are analyzed. Strategy for the development of non-Olympic sports, concept design for All-Ukrainian non-Olympic Sport Competitions is developed. Recommendations to the Strategy of the development of physical education and sport among students by 2025 are offered.
