The object of research is the activity of the State fiscal service of Ukraine on the use of technical systems in the implementation of customs control. The purpose of the work is to create a list of methods and measures for increasing the efficiency of the use of technical systems of customs control. Methods of research - abstract-logical, methods of system and structural, statistical analysis. On the basis of the study of theoretical foundations and practical aspects of the application of technical systems in the implementation of customs control, the main risk areas of their use are identified and a set of measures aimed at increasing the efficiency of their use is proposed. Based on the importance of information in the process of management of technical customs control systems, the reports of the SFS concerning the status and availability of technical means / systems of customs control for compliance with the requirements for management information for outlining possible directions for its improvement have been analyzed. A number of legal, organizational and technical measures are proposed to address the identified shortcomings. In order to increase the efficiency of the use of technical systems in the implementation of customs control, an algorithm for calculations, consisting of preparatory, calculation and analytical stages, is based on the classification of costs depending on the number of customs inspections performed. In addition, existing methods of assessing social benefits from the use of technical systems in the implementation of customs control are considered. These scientific results have a practical orientation and can be used in the activities of the SFS, concerning the management of the technical systems of customs control.
