The project aim the is to conduct a complex of theoretical and experimental studies of acoustic radiation with the creation of methods and techniques for monitoring and diagnosing the CM turning processes. Research methods - computer simulation, digital signal processing, graphical data analysis, statistical data processing, materials science methods, fracture mechanics, kinetic strength theory. The AE models with their mathematical description are developed for the CM machining with the predominant thermoactivation and mechanical destruction of the CM treated surface layer and the CM treating wear based on existing ideas about the processes of material destruction, the kinetics of their flow and the random component of their development over time. Models of AE energy emission were created under the prevailing thermoactivation and mechanical destruction of the CM treated surface layer and the CM treating wear. Models regularities in the variation of the AE signals statistical amplitude and energy parameters are obtained with their mathematical description when the machining technological parameters, the physical and mechanical characteristics of the CM change, as well as the CM treating wear with a controlled and uncontrolled cutting depth. The informative of the AE signal amplitude-energy parameters is determined. The experimental regularities of AE signal amplitude-energy parameters change are determined when the technological parameters of CM machining change. Methods and methodologies for determining the time of the initial processes stage onset that lead to the destruction of the cutting tool, the determination of CM treated properties and the control of their unevenness over the entire surface at the CM details by AE signals, which can be used in technological processes for CM machining (aircraft building, shipbuilding, automotive, power engineering and others).
