The purpose of the work is to develop a concept for the formation of characteristics and the main energy, economic, ecological and dynamic parameters of a perspective tank power plant with a diesel engine with a capacity of up to 1300 kW and a hydrostatic mechanical stepless transmission, based on an integrated approach to determining the features, physicochemical, thermodynamic, hydraulic and mechanical processes. Analytical methods of research have been used. The scientific novelty of the results is the concept, methods and models are proposed, and it will be possible to accelerate the 6TD diesel from 55 kW / l to 80 kW / l. The diesel power will increase to 1300 kW, which together with the hydrostatic mechanical stepless transmission will increase the traction dynamics and maneuverability of the tank, making their technical level corresponding to the world level, thereby ensuring the high defense capability of Ukraine.
