The aim of the work is to determine the directions of effective application of chemical compounds of various classes for the modification of materials based on alkaline cements with different degrees of their dilution. Methods of research: physical and chemical methods, physical and mechanical methods for determining of normal density, setting time of cement paste, density of oil wells, their water separation, plastic viscosity, static and dynamic shear stress, consistency and water retention capacity of mortar mixtures, consistency of concrete mixtures, characteristics of mortars - compressive strength, tensile strength in bending, strength of adhesion to the base, shrinkage deformations, characteristics of heavy weight concrete - compressive strength, tensile strength, flexural prism strength, elastic modulus, water absorption, porosity, water resistance, abrasion resistance, frost resistance and corrosion resistance. As result of the research, chemical compounds of various classes are systematized as modifying admixtures and technological bases for their application in materials based on alkaline cements are developed.
