Karazin popup.description2 The object of development is the physical processes of propagation, excitation and dispersion of electromagnetic fields of microwave and EHF bands in waveguide and resonantional hybrid metal-dielectric structures. The purpose of the research is the development of the radio-physical basis for the construction of a new generation of elements of microwave and EHF bands, which are based on hybrid metal-dielectric structures, the construction of physically correct mathematical models and the improvement of numerical-analytical methods for solving the corresponding boundary value problems of electrodynamics, the establishment of fundamental constraints the physical principles that are used. The subject of research is the multiparameter dependences of the electrodynamic characteristics of electromagnetic fields on the geometric parameters of excited volumes and radiating structures, spectral, frequency energy and characteristics of the directional radiation. Research methods: experimental and computer simulation. Research results: A numerical-analytical algorithm for solving the radiation problem of a disc microstrip antenna with axisymmetric excitation was created, using an isotropic impedance surface as a screen for a magneto-dielectric layer. The study of hybrid metal-dielectric structures of volumetric formation has shown the possibility of creating sufficiently effective radiating modules. In the course of research, the influence of geometric sizes of structures and their material parameters on the main integral characteristics of modules is established. When conducting studies of complex structures that are microstrip objects with complex configuration of discontinuities, it has been shown that when one desings effective radiation systems, it is necessary to take into account a number of important factors. The results of the research can be found in experimental studies of functional elements of microwave and EHF bands.
