According to these observations, the main climatological characteristics of the aerosol layer over Kyiv during 2008 - 2017 were obtained and the peculiarities of their changes during the specified period were revealed. The study of the atmosphere at the regional monitoring station of the international network of the World Meteorological Organization, created by the efforts of the LOA GAO and NLL Space Physics Department of the KNU, was continued. The features of seasonal variations in aerosol, ozone and water vapor parameters in the atmosphere over Ukraine were first determined. The created set of observational data is included in the international databases AERONET and WOUDC. For the first time in Ukraine, the aerodynamic distribution studies were conducted in height. The obtained results on the distribution of aerosols in the atmosphere, the power of its layers, dynamics under different weather conditions. The features of high-altitude distribution of aerosols - combustion products of biomass - are determined during significant atmospheric pollution over the city of Kyiv. Aerosol radiation forcing on the upper boundary of the atmosphere has been determined according to observations in Kyiv, which is calculated both according to the AERONET version and the algorithm of the GAME program. The average radiation forcing is negative (-6 ? -40 W / m2). The aerosol causes cooling of the atmosphere over Kiev, although during the winter months this majestic becomes positive (2 ? 15 W / m2).
