Electrochemical characteristics of Co-N-C electrocatalysts in ORR and stability during operation are determined. It was shown that obtained Co-N-C electrocatalysts are of a bifunctional nature, showing activity not only in ORR, but also in the process of electrochemical hydrogen evolution from water. The ORR mechanism was determined on electrodes modified by a number of Co-N-C electrocatalysts obtained during the project.
