The objective of research - development of physical bases, methods and means of continuous temperature control which exclude influence of metal alloys optical characteristics on results of measurements. Research methods- mathematical and spectral analysis and alsocomputational experiment with using of PC, ther mody namiclawsofthermalemission, pyrometri cequationsand ther malphysic models. The regularities of the in fluence of multicolour thermometry and metal alloys optical characteristics on linear symmetric-wave pyrometry errors are established. Mathematical models, algorithms, methods, multicolour thermometry systemand software for symmetric-wave pyrometry were developed. As a result of experimental studies it was established that methodical errors of the linear or universal symmetric-wave pyrometry are less than errors of the known multicolour, as well as the classical energy and spectral ratio thermometry in 2,3; 4,9-13,2 and 3,1-3,6 times, respectively or are completely excluded. New direction of symmetric-wave pyrometry significantly improves metrological characteristics and widens the application field of the most effective continuous contactless and light-guide temperature control.
