The aim of the work is to study the influence of vibration on heat transfer processes in the CCM mold and to develop scientifically sound technological recommendations for optimizing its thermal performance. As a tool for conducting research in the work with the method of physical modeling of the studied processes. The experiments were performed on the produced physical models according to the developed methods. We propose intensification of heat transfer through the gas gap between the workpiece surface and the inner wall of the crystallizer, as well as the heat transfer of the cooling water in the CCM mold. The mechanisms for increasing the efficiency of the thermal operation of the CCM crystallizer under the effect of vibration and changes in the shape of the heat exchange surface are disclosed. For the first time, a general methodology for studying heat transfer processes in the CCM crystallizer has been developed at all stages of heat transfer from a liquid metal to a cooling water. The use of the results of the work in practice will allow to increase the efficiency of the thermal work of the mold, respectively - both the quality of the cast billets and the capacity of the continuous casting machine in the continuous casting of steel.
