Objectives: synthesis of new organic-silica hybrid nanomaterials with anchored fluorescent and electroactive compounds, investigation of physical-chemical properties. Methods: sol-gel synthesis, quantitative physical-chemical analysis, potentiometry, surface probing, spectrofluorometry, diffuse reflection spectroscopy, scanning and penetrating electron microscopy, solid NMR (13С, 29Si) spectroscopy. Results and novelty: the morphology and structure of synthesized organic-silica hybrid materials with anchored 1-n-propyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride and their grafted layer are characterized. By the results of fluorescent and solvatochromic indicators probing expressed acidity and high polarity in near-surface layer of materials under study are revealed. The possibility of obtained materials to be used as voltamperometric and amperometric sensors is proved. Spectral characteristics of several series of organic fluorescent compounds that potentially capable for probing of organic-silica materials surface with the purpose of surface physical-chemical properties are obtained and investigated. Optimal parameters of fluoroionochromic dyes immobilization on the surface of modified silica, chemical and photochemical stability of obtained materials are investigated.
