A change in the habitat of rare species was established on the basis of an analysis of the main climatic factors (air temperature, precipitation, snow regime, etc.). Succession changes in phytocoenoses, reorganization of cenotic positions and relationships between species have been revealed. The population structure and dynamics, vitality and viability, changes in the altitudinal distribution of rare stenotopic low-competitive cold-resistant, arctic-alpine and chionophilic species under the influence of climatic factors were studied. Climatogenic threats to populations and habitats of rare species have been identified, and measures have been developed for their active protection in order to preserve the rare population-species and cenotic diversity. Medium-term forecasts of the dynamics of populations of vulnerable species have been developed.
